Frequently Asked Questions

Utilises known Science of Fuel Enhancement and Commercialises the Technology.

H2PEcoPower (H2P) fuel enhancer is a World Wide Patented Technology that upgrades traditional engines into a hydrogen hybrid engine. Product installation is suitable for buses, trucks, and power generator sets.

The H2P fuel system helps fuel burn more efficiently to 70%+ during the combustion process in an internal combustion engine, which normally operates at 42 – 46% burn efficiency. Data suggests that vehicles integrated with the H2P technology can save up to 40% fuel and reduce their greenhouse emissions by 45%.

The H2P hydrogen technology is an easy-to-install upgrade for petrol and diesel vehicles and can be installed on-site at your depot in a few hours per vehicle to minimize downtime.

No. The H2P system is not a fuel cell system. The hydrogen fuel enhancement system uses a mixture of hydrogen and conventional hydrocarbon fuel in an internal combustion engine to reduce emissions and improve power output.

The H2P system uses commercial / Industrial grade hydrogen gas at a purity of 99.95% over electrolysis of water systems at 50% purity. The gas is stored in a fully contained space inside pressurized cylinders @200/300 Bar pressure where it remains inert.

Hydrogen is considered an alternative fuel as it is highly inflammable with high energy density and it doesn’t emit GHGs when burned. Currently, hydrogen is not widely used as a fuel, but it has the potential for greater use in the future.

Industry name branded components are used in H2P technology to ensure Quality, Passenger Safety, and Reliability Assurance. All the parts used in the H2P system – mild steel cylinders, regulators, valves, hoses, etc – are ISO standard certified.

The size or quantity of gas and gas cylinders depends on the vehicle type and requirements. An average cylinder supply of 10,000 Gas Liters used in H2P is sufficient to cover the distance 10 times between Mumbai and Delhi  – Engine Size and Variances apply. Multiple Gas Cylinders can be linked together for long-distance travel.

No. Installation of the H2PEcoPower product to an engine does not void any manufacturer’s warranty. H2P system is an after-market engine adaptation that is not an amendment to the engine, implying the warranty is not affected in any way.

If in any circumstances, the H2PEcoPower product is the direct cause of malfunction or damage to the engine, then the H2P warranty and insurance extend to repairs that are a direct consequence of the defect or malfunction caused by the H2P product. A complete product warranty statement is available on request.

In case the H2 runs out during the operation, then the engine will continue to operate with the fossil fuel stored in the vehicle without any trouble.
